Description
TONEX’s 802.11n training course will cover major aspects of 802.11n with in depth information, example implementations, case studies and practical guidance to give your team members a running start.
802.11n -- higher throughput improvements using MIMO (multiple input, multiple output antennas) -- course provides a comprehensive understanding of the 802.11n architecture and technology. 802.11n builds upon previous 802.11 standards by adding MIMO. Multiple transmitter and receiver antennas are used in MIMO to allow for increased data throughput through spatial multiplexing and increased range by exploiting the spatial diversity, perhaps through coding schemes like Alamouti coding. MIMO technology constitutes a breakthrough in the design of wireless communications systems, and is already at the core of several wireless standards including 802.11n. Exploiting multipath scattering, MIMO techniques deliver significant performance enhancements in terms of data transmission rate and interference reduction.
