Technical communication level I training covers the criteria for planning, developing, and providing technical documentation from the first stage to the end. We will teach you how to identify your target audience and their expectations, recognize proper style and structure for the document, improving the accuracy and arrangement of your writing, evaluate and criticize it, and at the end edit and proofread your own work effectively. During this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to become an effective team player, as well as to enhance your verbal communication and presentation abilities that can raise the chance of your success in technical communication.

Technical communication is a wide area and considers any type of communication that demonstrates one or more of the following features:

  • Interacting about technical or specific subjects, including computer applications, medical processes, or environmental rules
  • Interacting by applying technology, including web pages, assist files, or social media positions
  • Delivering directions about how to perform a task, no matter how technical the task is or even if technology is applied to develop or allocate that communication

Technical communication level I training is a basic course that teaches you the basics of communication skills and approaches. We will teach you the 101 of technical communication. In particular, we will teach you technical writing. You will learn how to write your scientific/engineering papers and manuscript that are understandable and coherent. We believe if a technical manuscript is not well-welcomed, it is not because of the poor technical content of the work, but in most cases it is due to lack of clarity, coherence, and arrangement.
