DoDAF Certification Training

DoDAF Certification by TONEX – Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.0 Training

dodaf 2.0 training

DoDAF Certification covers The Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) 2.02, the evolution of DoDAF 1.5.

DoDAF Certification defines a new way to organize an enterprise architecture (EA) into complementary and consistent views, viewpoints and models. TONEX DoDAF 2.0 certification training bootcamp covers complete migration from DoDAF 1.5 to DoDAF 2.02 and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).

Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

In our hands-on 3 day DoDAF 2.0 training you will use our comprehensive methodology to create operational, capabilites, technical, and systems architecture views and products consistent with the DoDAF 2.0 and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) guidelines. Students will apply DoDAF compliance concepts, models and principles to design their own DoDAF-compliant system.

TONEX DoDAF 2.0 training (DoDAF 2 training) provide guidance and rules for developing, representing, and understanding architectures based on a common denominator across DoD, Joint, and multinational boundaries. It provides external stakeholders with insight into how the DoDAF 2.0 Training – DoD develops architectures. It ensures that architecture descriptions can be compared and related across programs, mission areas, and ultimately, the enterprise, thus, establishing the foundation for analyses that supports decision-making processes throughout the DoD.

The Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) defines a standard way to organize an enterprise architecture (EA) or systems architecture into complementary and consistent views.

The course introduces the students to DoDAF Meta-model (DM2), consisting of a Conceptual Data Model (CDM), Logical Data Model (LDM), and Physical Exchange Specification (PES) as an integral part of the architecture framework. The DM2 replaces the Core Architecture Data Model (CADM) referenced in previous versions of DoDAF. Tonex also provide a comprehensive course in Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).’

Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) various “viewpoints” make up the DoDAF framework including many “models” as the guideline providing the information needed to describe and model a portion of the architecture including new DIV – through DIV 3, PV-1 through PV-3, CV-1 through CV-7 and SvcV 1 through SvcV 10

DoDAF 2.0 Training

During the class, the students will create DoDAF 2.0 viewpoints including:

  • All Viewpoint
  • Capability Viewpoint
  • Data and Information Viewpoint
  • Operational Viewpoint
  • Project Viewpoint
