Introduction to SoS Operational Test and DoDAF

Introduction to SoS Operational Test and DoDAF training covers Operational Test (OT) and Evaluation processes applied to System of systems engineering and integration using DoDAF viewpoints.

This introductory applied SoS Operational Test and Evaluation DoDAF 2.02  training workshop provides participants with a solid foundation for applying Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and System of Systems (SoS) Operational Test (OT) and Evaluation best practices with the DoD Architecture Framework 2.02 (DoDAF 2.02) standard framework. The workshop style 3-day training teaches participants  how to solve practical Operational Test  and Evaluation (OT&E) problems using using a pragmatic subset of DoDAF 2.02 viewpoints and SysML diagram types that are appropriate for the system of Systems (SoS) Operational Test  and Evaluation (OT&E).

Learn and Understand:

  • Principles behind Operational Test and Evaluation
  • Interactions between the system under test and its system of systems.
  • Testing procedures  at the system of systems level
  • Test domains including operational test and integration
  • Test and evaluate warfighting capabilities under realistic operational conditions
  • Testing procedures to determine their effectiveness, suitability and impact on mission accomplishment
  • Techniques to deliver capability focused and aligned operational assessments, procedures and tactics for new warfighting capabilities
