IRIG 106 Training | Standard for Digital Flight Data Recording Training by Tonex

“IRIG 106” is a standard for digital flight data recording used in aviation and aerospace applications. Training resources are available to learn more about the standard, its implementation, and its applications.

The IRIG 106 standard is a telemetry protocol that ensures seamless communication and interoperability among aeronautical telemetry applications at RCC member ranges. Developed and maintained by the Telemetry Group of the Range Commanders Council, the standard has become the industry benchmark for data recording and transmission in flight tests and other telemetry applications.

The development of the IRIG 106 standard is further supported by the Telemetering Standards Coordination Committee (TSCC), which operates under the auspices of the International Foundation for Telemetering.
