Fundamentals of Electromagnetic Threats
Fundamentals of Electromagnetic Threats is a 2-day training workshop that provides the fundamentals of electromagnetic energy and threats.
Fundamentals of Electromagnetic Threats course provides the knowledge and skills to assess electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack, geomagnetic disturbance (GMD, also referred to as “space weather”), and other extreme electromagnetic incidents caused by an intentional purposes. Participants will learn how electromagnetic threats could damage significant portions of the Nation’s critical infrastructure, including the electrical grid, oil and gas infrastructure, communications equipment, water and wastewater systems, and transportation modes.
