IFB (Invitation for Bids) Writing and Proposal Development Training by Tonex

This course is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge of the IFB process and the skills required to develop successful bid proposals.   • Activities:Hands-on exercise: Analyze a real IFB for compliance and requirements.

Module 3: Proposal Strategy Development

  • Developing a proposal strategy that aligns with IFB evaluation criteria.
  • Understanding the balance between technical and pricing evaluations.
  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses in your organization’s approach to bidding.
  • Activities: Workshop: Create a mock proposal strategy based on an IFB.

Module 4: Writing Compliant IFB Responses

  • Best practices for negotiating contract terms after award.
  • Activities: Role-playing exercise: Negotiating a contract after bid submission.

Capstone Project:

Participants will complete a mock bid proposal based on a real-world IFB. This project will include a technical and pricing section, followed by peer and instructor review.

Assessment and Certification:

Participants who successfully complete the course, including the final capstone project, will receive a Certificate of Completion.
