The Managing Agile Projects course is designed to equip project managers and team leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively plan, execute, and manage Agile projects. Participants will learn how to navigate the complexities of Agile project management, including Agile methodologies, roles and responsibilities, and best practices for delivering value to customers. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants will gain insights into managing Agile teams, stakeholders, and project deliverables.

Audience: This course is suitable for project managers, team leaders, Scrum Masters, product owners, and anyone involved in managing Agile projects or transitioning to Agile project management roles.

Course Modules:

Day 1: Foundations of Agile Project Management

Module 1: Introduction to Agile Project Management

    • Overview of Agile principles and values.
    • Understanding the Agile Manifesto and its implications for project management.

Module 2: Agile Methodologies and Frameworks

    • Overview of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile methodologies.
    • Selecting and tailoring Agile approaches to suit project requirements.

Module 3: Agile Roles and Responsibilities

    • Understanding the roles of Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Agile team members.
    • Responsibilities of project managers and team leaders in Agile projects.

Day 2: Managing Agile Teams and Deliverables

Module 4: Agile Project Planning and Estimation

  • Techniques for Agile project planning, including user story mapping and backlog grooming.
  • Estimation techniques in Agile projects (e.g., planning poker, relative sizing).

Module 5: Agile Project Execution and Monitoring

    • Managing Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review).
    • Techniques for monitoring progress and adapting to change in Agile projects.

Module 6: Agile Project Delivery and Continuous Improvement

    • Strategies for delivering value iteratively and incrementally.
    • Implementing feedback loops and continuous improvement practices in Agile projects.

Delivery Format:

  • Instructor-led training with a mix of lectures, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises.
  • Practical demonstrations of Agile project management tools and techniques.

Prerequisites:
