TRIZ for Storage Innovation Workshop by Tonex
Creative Problem Solving for Future SATA & SAS Design

Applied TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving)  for Innovation Training

This 2-day hands-on workshop is designed for engineers and innovation teams working on SATA and SAS-based storage solutions for datacenters. As demand grows for faster, smaller, and more reliable drives, traditional design approaches face serious contradictions—like improving speed without increasing heat, or boosting density without sacrificing reliability.
TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) provides a structured, proven way to generate breakthrough ideas by solving these contradictions systematically. This workshop gives your team the tools and mindset to innovate beyond limits—reducing trial and error.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basics of TRIZ and how it applies to engineering innovation.
  • Identify and define contradictions in current SATA/SAS storage designs.
  • Use the TRIZ Contradiction Matrix and 40 Inventive Principles to generate innovative ideas.
  • Apply TRIZ tools to real-world storage challenges (e.g., power, performance, thermal limits).
  • Predict and map the evolution of storage technologies using TRIZ trends.
  • Develop future-ready design concepts using advanced TRIZ methods.
  • Collaborate in innovation teams to solve complex design challenges efficiently.
